When we try to resurface we target the epidermis (top layer of skin). When we need to remodel the skin for wrinkle treatments, scar treatments we are targeting treatments within the mid-dermis. The fine needles create small micro-channels in the skin leaving the epidermal barrier fully intact, treating only areas in the mid-dermis. Using the derma roller with Hydrasilk serum allows Hyularonic acid and healing minerals to penetrate through the top layer of the epidermis through the micro-channels and repair the skin from the inside out without damaging the surface of the skin. This eliminates the risks and negative side effects on the skin commonly encountered other invasive skin peels.
While your pores are opened the derma roller stimulates collagen and elastin production. The production of collagen and elastin helps to thicken the skin, smooth away fine lines and wrinkles and rid the skin of hyper pigmentation. When the derma roller is applied simultaneously with the application of Hydrasilk your skins absorption of vitamins, enzymes, lipids and other nourishing ingredients are greatly enhanced. In approximately one to two hours after the application of the derma roller along with Hydrasilk these micro-channels fully close through the body’s natural healing process, providing just enough time for new collagen structures to form within the skin’s lower layers.
It is effective in acne scar removal as well as treating breast augmentation scars, burn scars, C-section scarring, chicken pox scars, ice pick scars, large pores, pitting of the skin, surgical scars, tummy tuck scars plus more. Also it can be used to remove stretch marks such as those developed during pregnancy, adolescent growth spurts, rapid muscle growth, rapid muscle growth spurts and weight loss/gain
Treatments:
1. Clean the skin with Clear Cleanse twice to remove all dirt and makeup from the skin. Apply a thin film of Radiance Exfoliator and leave on for 5 minutes then remove with warm water. Spray the skin lightly with Rescue Spray. Apply two pumps of Hydrasilk to the area.
Roll the gently over the area you wish to treat 4 times vertically, 4 times horizontally, 4 times diagonally to the left and 4 times diagonally to the right (as illustrated below). This is more than enough to stimulate collagen and elastin formation in the skin. Avoid using the roller on your eyelids or lips.
2. When complete, add Hydrasilk again to the skin and leave on.
3. Daytime Treatment Only – If you are using the dermaroller in the daytime, apply Hydraprotect sun protective cream to the face.
4. Treat only once per day, up to 5 times per week when using the dermaroller in 0.2mm or 0.5 mm. Treat only once every 3 to 4 weeks when using a dermaroller in 1.0mm.
